Safety & Reporting

1. Reporting unsafe or inappropriate content

Every video, doctor profile, and chat conversation on Doctotalk has a Report action accessible from the menu (⋯) on the player or screen. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours. High-severity reports — credible threats, child-safety concerns, or content that puts someone at immediate medical risk — are escalated to senior moderators within 1 hour.

2. Blocking another user

Patients can block any doctor from the doctor's profile, the video player, or the shorts feed. Blocking immediately hides that doctor's videos, shorts, saves, and watch history from your feed and search results. Manage your blocked doctors at Settings → Blocked Doctors.

3. Categories you can report

• Medical misinformation or unsafe medical advice
• Sexually inappropriate content
• Content endangering minors
• Harassment, threats, or hate speech
• Self-harm or suicide-related content
• Copyright infringement (use the dedicated DMCA flow at copyright@doctotalk.com)
• Spam or scams
• Privacy violation — your personal info shown without consent (also privacy@doctotalk.com)

4. Reporting an emergency

Doctotalk is not for medical emergencies. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services immediately. If you are reporting credible self-harm or violence threat you have seen on the Platform, please also report it to us so we can remove the content and act on the account.

5. What happens to your report

1. Your report is queued for review and acknowledged in-app.
2. A moderator reviews the content against our Community Guidelines, Content Policy, and Medical Content Policy.
3. Action is taken — content removed / hidden / left up — and the reporting user is informed where appropriate (we cannot disclose enforcement details about another user's account for privacy reasons).
4. The uploading user (if action was taken) is notified with the reason and any strike consequences.
