1. Scope
This policy describes the categories of content that are prohibited on Doctotalk, how prohibited content is detected and removed, and the consequences for users who upload it.
2. Prohibited content
You may not upload, share, or transmit any content that:
- Promotes or contains medical misinformation, unverified cures, or guaranteed-outcome claims.
- Contains nudity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive material (outside narrowly-scoped clinical educational context with appropriate warnings).
- Endangers, exploits, or sexualises minors.
- Depicts graphic violence, self-harm, or content glorifying eating disorders.
- Incites violence, harassment, or hate against an individual or group.
- Infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Is illegal under Indian law or the law of the user's jurisdiction.
- Constitutes spam, fraud, or attempts to phish credentials or payment information.
3. Detection and removal
- All uploaded videos pass through automated checks (caption / claim text filter, optional AI moderation hook).
- Every video and chat thread can be reported by any user.
- Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours; high-severity reports are reviewed within 1 hour.
- Doctotalk reserves the right to remove, hide, or restrict any content at any time, with or without prior notice.
4. Consequences
- Warning for first-time minor violations.
- Temporary suspension of uploads, go-live, and discoverability after 3 warnings within 90 days.
- Permanent removal after 2 temp-suspensions within 180 days, or immediately for severe violations (CSAM, credible threats, repeat misinformation).
5. Appeals
If you believe content was removed or your account was actioned in error, reply to the notification email or open a support ticket. Appeals are reviewed by a different moderator than the one who took the original action.
