Affiliate Program Terms
Effective Date: November 2026 (version 1.0)
These terms govern your membership of the Doctotalk Affiliate Program (the "Program"). By creating an affiliate account you agree to them, to the Affiliate Promotion Rules, and to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of Doctotalk (the "Platform"). If you do not agree, do not create an account.
1. What the Program is
As an affiliate you receive a personal recharge code. When a patient types your code on the wallet recharge screen of the Doctotalk app, completes that recharge, and the payment is successful, the patient receives extra promotional credit and you earn a commission on that recharge, on the terms below. The patient must enter a code on every recharge they want the extra on: nothing is remembered from an earlier recharge, and a recharge made without a code earns you nothing, even if the patient came from your link or your content.
2. Who can join
- You must be 18 or older, resident in India, and able to enter a binding contract.
- You must give true and complete details (your name, a mobile number you control, an email address, and the channels where you will promote) and keep them up to date.
- Your mobile number is verified by a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
- One person may hold one affiliate account. We may refuse or close an account at any time, including to protect patients or the Platform.
3. Your relationship with Doctotalk
You are an independent promoter. You are not an employee, agent, partner, doctor or representative of Doctotalk, and you may not make promises, give assurances or sign anything on Doctotalk's behalf. You choose how, when and whether to promote, within these terms and the Promotion Rules. You are not entitled to any minimum earnings. Nothing we show (examples, calculators, tiers) is a promise of income.
4. Codes
- You get one main code. If the Program allows it you may also create a limited number of channel codes, at the same rates, to see which channel works. Codes are 4 to 12 letters or numbers.
- A code belongs to Doctotalk and is only licensed to you while your account is active. Codes cannot be sold, transferred or rented. We may change, switch off or replace a code, for example if it is misleading, offensive, confusingly similar to a brand or a person, or misused.
- You may not use your own code, or a code of a person connected to you, on a recharge made by you, your family, your household, your business or any account you control.
5. The patient's extra credit
The extra credit a patient receives when they use a code (the percentage, the minimum recharge and the maximum per recharge) is set by Doctotalk, shown to the patient in the app before they pay, and may change for future recharges. The extra is promotional credit: it has no cash value, cannot be withdrawn or refunded, and is governed by the Promo Code Terms. A patient inside a Doctotalk welcome offer may receive that offer's extra instead of, or as well as, the code's extra, as the app shows. This does not change your commission.
6. Your commission
- What you earn on: each completed recharge where the patient entered one of your codes. Commission is a percentage of the recharge amount, not including any platform fee or GST, plus any fixed amount per recharge that the Program offers at that time.
- Your rate: your rate depends on the total recharge value made with your codes during the calendar month (Indian time), in the tiers published on the Program page and in your dashboard. Doctotalk may also agree a different rate with you in writing. A tier applies to the recharge that reaches it and to later recharges that month.
- Limits: Doctotalk may set a monthly maximum commission for each affiliate and a minimum recharge for a code to apply.
- Changes: Doctotalk may change rates, tiers, limits and other Program settings at any time. Changes apply to recharges made after the change is published. Commission already earned on earlier recharges is not reduced by a change, but it remains subject to sections 7 and 9.
7. Holding period, reversals and adjustments
- Each commission is held for a holding period (shown in your dashboard) before it can be withdrawn.
- Commission is reversed, or deducted from later commission or payouts, if the related payment is refunded, reversed, charged back, found to be fraudulent or made in breach of these terms, or if the commission was credited by mistake.
- If a reversal happens after a payout, Doctotalk may deduct the amount from your future commission, and you must repay anything we cannot recover that way.
8. Payouts
- When your available balance reaches the minimum payout shown in your dashboard, you may request a payout. A payout is paid by bank transfer to a bank account in your own name (account number and IFSC code), after review by our team.
- The amount you withdraw includes GST at the rate that applies by law (currently 18%). The GST is part of the amount you withdraw, so the amount paid to your bank account is the withdrawal amount less the GST included in it. We show you this calculation before you confirm a withdrawal request.
- To protect you, a payout to a bank account that you added or changed in the last 24 hours is not available until 24 hours have passed.
- We may delay or refuse a payout while we check an account, or if you breach these terms. We are not responsible for a payout that fails because the details you gave were wrong.
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to what you earn, and for any registrations or filings the law requires of you.
9. Rules you must follow
You must follow the Affiliate Promotion Rules at all times. In particular you must not make medical claims, must not say or suggest that consultations or credit are free, must not promise results, must not target people by health condition, must tell your audience that you earn a commission, and must not use fake accounts, self-use, spam or any other manipulation to create recharges. Doctotalk alone decides whether a recharge or a code use is genuine, acting reasonably and in good faith.
10. Patient privacy
You will see only limited information about the recharges made with your codes: a short reference for the patient, the city, the amount and your commission. You must never ask patients for health information or personal details for the Program, and must not try to identify patients, contact them using Program data, or use any data you see for any other purpose. Your own personal data is handled under our Privacy Policy.
11. Suspension and ending
- Doctotalk may suspend or close your account, switch off your codes, hold or withdraw unpaid commission, and reverse commission earned in breach of these terms, if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms or the Promotion Rules, or are putting patients, Doctotalk or others at risk.
- You may stop at any time by stopping promotion and asking us to close your account. Commission that was validly earned and has passed its holding period will still be paid, subject to section 7.
- Doctotalk may change or end the Program at any time. If we end it, we will pay commission validly earned up to that date, subject to section 7.
12. Liability
The Program is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Doctotalk is not liable for lost earnings, lost opportunity or indirect loss, and our total liability to you in connection with the Program is limited to the commission that was validly payable to you and unpaid. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You are responsible for what you say and publish, and you will compensate Doctotalk for loss caused by your breach of these terms or by anything you publish.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one on this page, and its effective date is shown above. If you keep promoting after a change is published, you accept the change.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
