Affiliate Promotion Rules
Effective Date: November 2026 (version 1.0)
Doctotalk is a health platform, so what you say about it matters. These rules apply to everything you publish or send to promote Doctotalk or your code, on any channel. They are part of the Affiliate Program Terms.
1. What you may say
- That patients can chat or video with verified doctors on Doctotalk, paid per minute, and can see the doctor's rate before they start.
- That a patient who enters your code on the wallet recharge screen gets extra wallet credit on that recharge, using the percentage and limits currently shown in your dashboard.
- That the extra credit is promotional credit with no cash value, and that terms apply.
- That you earn a commission when your code is used.
2. What you must always do
- Disclose: make it clear you earn a commission, in plain words close to your code (for example "#ad" or "I earn a commission if you use my code"). Follow the rules of the platform you post on.
- Be accurate: state the extra credit and conditions correctly, and say it is entered on the recharge screen each time.
- Say it is not for emergencies: Doctotalk is not an emergency service. Do not suggest it replaces emergency care.
- Use approved material: use the messages and assets in your dashboard, or your own words that follow these rules.
- Follow the law and each platform's rules: this includes advertising and consumer protection law, rules on unsolicited messages and calls, and the advertising policies of the platforms where you post (including their health and wellness policies).
3. What you must never do
- Never call a consultation, a recharge, the extra credit or anything else "free", "free money", "no charge" or similar. Consultations are paid per minute.
- Never make medical claims. Do not say or imply that Doctotalk or any doctor can cure, treat, diagnose or prevent any condition, or give any health advice yourself in connection with your code.
- Never promise or guarantee results, savings, earnings, or that a doctor will be available.
- Never target or address people by a health condition, symptom or medical situation, and never use before-and-after images, body images, prescriptions or medicine names in your promotion.
- Never use patient information, testimonials, doctor names, photos or logos without written permission, and never invent reviews, numbers or credentials.
- Never pretend to be Doctotalk, a doctor or a Doctotalk employee, and never use a name, domain, handle or advertisement that could be mistaken for Doctotalk's own.
- Never use your own code, or a code of anyone connected to you, on recharges made by you or by accounts you control, and never create, buy or direct fake or duplicate accounts or recharges.
- Never send bulk or unsolicited messages, spam, auto-dialled calls, or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, and never buy or sell traffic, installs, recharges or reviews.
- Never offer cash, gifts or anything of value in return for a patient using your code.
- Never promote to children, or in any way that is unlawful, misleading, hateful, sexual or offensive.
4. Paid advertising
You may not run paid advertising for Doctotalk or your code, or bid on the Doctotalk name or similar words as search keywords, unless Doctotalk has agreed in writing. Any advertising you run with our written agreement must follow these rules and the platform's health advertising policies.
5. If you break these rules
Doctotalk may remove or ask you to remove content, switch off your codes, suspend or close your account, reverse commission, withhold unpaid commission, and report unlawful conduct to the authorities. We decide what is a breach acting reasonably and in good faith. Breaking the rules in sections 3 and 4 can lead to immediate closure.
