Hello Doctor, I have developed a skin problem in my scrotal area. It becomes itchy, especially in hot weather, and a thin layer of skin keeps peeling off. I have been experiencing this for about 3 months.
Could you please advise me on what treatment I should use? Is there any ointment or cream that I can safely apply to the affected area?
Likely cause
Most likely it seems to be fungal infection..mider variant.
What to watch for
Watch out for any redness or oozing pus from it as it could be secondary bacterial infection.
What you can do
Use any plain antifungal cream fo atleast 2 weeks regularly.

Once consult Dermatologist if the symptoms persist and in that scenario you might require oral antifungal agents
