How to reduce headache
Likely cause
Before reducing the headache, it's best if you are able to know the reason behind your Headache and why are you actually getting the headache. As headache is a common symptom for a lot of other diseases. But we will discuss about common causes. Common causes include- migraine, cluster headache or tension headache. Migraine is actually a recurrent headache characterised by GI disturbances and visual disturbances. Exact cause is not known, however various factors can lead to migraine. Hormonal changes, stress, excessive or insufficient sleep, exposure to light or noise, motion sickness, hunger, red wine etc. Or it might be cluster headache which is unilateral headache mostly due to allergens or any stress.
What to watch for
At least 4-5 such attacks. If associated with aura- any visual or disturbances like light flashes, motion sickness or weakness. If associated with nausea or vomiting episodes Unilateral that means only one side. Not attributed to any other disease or problem.
