Patient question
Why does my child need anesthesia
Likely cause
Depends on what your child is suffering from and of he needs a surgery or something. Otherwise there is no need of anesthesia on a daily basis. If it was advised by a surgeon for a surgery because of some condition that is lofe threatening or a serious condition which is hampering the child's condition. Anesthesia is given because we need to block the nerve or muscle surrounding the area where we need to do the surgery so that the patient does not feel pain while surgery. That is the layman type of explanation i can give you.
