What is causing my irregular periods?

Look there can be various reasons as to why you are getting irregular periods and also depends upon how frequently is it irregular or also on your age and factors like some underlying medical conditions like PCOS or Thyroid disorders. Age related if yiu you are in the perimenopausal age 40-50 years with the avg menopause age being around 47 years, you will have symptoms like irregular bleeding.
What to watch for
Are there any other signs or symptoms related to it such as excessive bleeding which is getting your pad soaked in one hour and hampers your daily activity Is there any pain in your pelvic area or lower abdomen (stomach) area. Do you often get symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, weakness and feeling nausea? Prolonged absence of bleeding or prolonged duration of bleeding is also a warning sign for you. Also look after your weight gain, any acne in your face. Sometimes it will be associated with discharge along with bleeding.
